A versatile, flexible and professional health consultant and coach, who focus’s on raising the awareness between performance and wellbeing. Working with companies to reduce absenteeism and improve performance requires good problem solving techniques and lateral thinking. In contrast working with community members to make lifestyle modifications and behavior change leading to improved health requires a broad range of coaching skills. Experience
- Improving the provision of health and wellbeing information supplied by the library service – analysis of health statistic within Haringey, developing partnerships with relevant organisations who now provide a hands on service using the library facilities (9 libraries within Haringey)
- Delivery of health clinics in partnership with Haringey NHS and Stroke awareness team
- Weight reduction programme for the obese patients of Bridge Street Medical Practice. Delivery style a mix of coaching and health education.
- Associate of Loughborough Physiotherapy clinic for patients requiring ongoing programme prescription.
- Lecturer at Loughborough College and University, all health related topics and teaching specialist health programme to those in the health club industry.
- Provision and management of health and wellbeing website for Instant Library.
- Loughborough Council working with obese women with mental health issues – a combined approach of coaching and health education
- Research on 126 multicultural community members, the objective to improve lifestyle and reduce weight. The delivery period of one year using a combined approach of group and individual monthly clinics with weekly online support. The delivery style was coaching and health behaviour (No diets or calorie counting). The test group of 126 people resulted in a 92% success rate.
